12” Round Encaustic, Oceanic #4
These colorful original pieces of Ocean themed Encaustic Mixed media art are on 12” wood rounds and are 1/2” thick. Each piece is created with many layers of colored encaustic medium (beeswax and tree resin) The edges are organic with the wax wrapping over the side. This round is mounted on a 4” x 4” x 1” wood cradleboard for easy hanging, which also gives it a nice 3D look which appears to be floating off the wall. The art can be hung in any direction since these are abstract works. Hanging hardware is included!
